Modern technologies allow us to create lasting wooden windows and at the same time to maintain traditional feature that can beautifully complement your property. By allowing us to master your idea and make your dream beome reality, we offer 3 types of wood you can choose from: accoya, hard wood and soft wood laminate.

At Made to Joinery, not only we create stunning timber windows but we ensure that their performance is optimised through the use of the highest quality timber available.

Accoya® is wood, but not as you know it. It is modified timber in which a process called acetylation, a cutting-edge patented technology, enables it to resist rot, defy the elements and stay strong for decades. Guaranteed for 50 years above ground and 25 years in ground or freshwater, its performance and properties are remarkable. From joinery for the home to bridges submerged in water, Accoya® long life wood is a leading material that stands up to every application challenge – wood decking, wood cladding, landscape timbers, sidings, wooden windows and more.

Our Finishing

We know that one of the biggest concerns a customer can have, is having to paint their windows every couple of years. To minimise this requirement we spray finish all our windows with the finest Teknos low-maintenance paint systems, coupled with end grain sealing and highly-skilled spraying application, giving us a beautiful long-lasting finish.

By using high quality wood such as Accoya, maintenance cycles are greatly extended and on redecoration only require one topcoat.
